Cheap Clean, Safe Water
Our body is made up of 80% water, earth is 90% of water and everything we use water is needed. To make my point clear we need water to stay alive. Without water this whole planet would not be here. There is only one problem, the 90% of water earth has is only 2.5% drinkable and over the years we have been tripling the use of water, but the human population has quadrupled. The question still remains where is our water going? You can say it is because we have multiplied rapidly fast, but that does not answer the question of why we are losing our water so quickly. According to Kate Zerrenner on Forbes.com the 90% water (including our 3% drinkable water) is being used to have electric power plant companies to stay a float and have and is being used to cool them down. It makes sense, well to me a little, but these power plants also cause the change of the climate which can cause stop of rain or even nuclear rain because of the pollution. Companies like these consume thousands of drinking water per day, while some states are in a drought. This is only of few places where out drinkable water is going and is being “used”.

Choose three topics from Part 1 or Part 2.
Deforesting, fighting for fuel and the rise and fall of Empires.

1)- The Mesopotamian Empire was strong, but not smart. They thought by razing the forest they had where their food source could of came from, was coming from was a good idea. The way of life they had was fine, but not in the environment they were in. I'm guessing The Mesopotamian Empire only cared about being the strongest and conquering other lands to take their food source what they didn't think of was the outcome in the future. It was not sustainable on how they were getting their food source because they eventually ran out of lands to conquer and ended up fading away. This shows how power can take over a whole empire and make them think they have it good when it was already good since the beginning for The Mesopotamian Empire.
When fuel runs low, fighting starts.

2)- What will happen once all the oil is gone? America can still intact with Arab and South American countries to continue selling their oil to us, but what kind of action will take place once other countries need oil as much as we do. If oil is still our fuel in hundreds of years what will everyone do once it is completely gone? The Mesopotamians, Greeks, Romans ran low on their energy source and had no choice but to go to war. As always only one country remains on top, but for how long?

Video Link: Earth Under Water
This video explains to us how earth used to be covered by at least 6ft of water back then. They believed that sea level can rise in the next century and can cover at least 15ft. By 2100 states can be covered by water and cities will know the disaster that came. We are standing on reclaimed land in the bay area and 7ft of sea level has risen up, this is happening rapidly and we must know how to prepare for before the sea reaches are heads. No one knows how to stop it or how to avoid it all we know is the catastrophic disasters it will give us.
